A Society for the Curious Mind
A private space where writers, thinkers, founders,
artists and scientists gather for the conversations
that cannot happen anywhere else.
Most gatherings optimise for scale. We optimise for depth. Imaginatio Mundi is a private society built on a single conviction: that the quality of a conversation depends entirely on who is in the room. We curate that room with obsessive care, bringing together people who would rarely find themselves at the same table, and giving them the time and space to actually think together.
We curate salons, dinner parties, and intimate gatherings in private homes and remarkable spaces — connecting people across disciplines, industries, and perspectives. No agendas. No panels. No pitch decks.
Fourteen guests. One room. A question placed at the centre that nobody is permitted to avoid. We believe that genuine argument — pursued with warmth, rigour, and the assumption of good faith — is among the rarest and most generous acts two people can perform for one another.
Eighteen guests. A candlelit canal house. Three courses over four hours. Seating is curated by the host — strangers placed beside one another with intention. One provocation set at the start of the evening, returned to only at the end. What changes is the point.
Four days in the mountains above the Marrakaech. Twenty-four members — writers, scientists, makers, and thinkers — given time that is not structured, not optimised, and not networked. Mornings are free. Afternoons gather around a theme. Evenings belong to whatever emerges.
"The imagination of the world is not a metaphor.
It is a practice — the daily act of placing oneself
in genuine contact with minds unlike one's own."
We do not select on the basis of title, industry, or achievement alone. We select on the basis of how a person listens. Membership is by application and invitation, reviewed by a committee of existing members each season.
Applications for fellowship are reviewed by the Committee each season. We welcome enquiries on a rolling basis.
